New Years Eve 2003 was a special event for us.  Our good astronomy buddies, Steve and Sonia Scott, who recently escaped to Colorado, returned to help ring in the new year.  Joining Steve and Sonia were Bob and Karen Taylor, Triple and Karen Nickel with their sons Gabriel, Todd and Travis, Ken and Sheila Steele, Ed and Eleta Malewitz, Connie Cavuoti and David Haviland, John Erickson, Leslie Logan and her daughter Cameron who was home from Iowa State and Randy and Dolly Brewer.  While Steve and Sonia traveled from Colorado just to see us (ha ha) the long distance award went to Karen Nickel's son Gabriel who came all the way from Canada.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a great year and to usher in 2004.
